Taking Off

Well Monday am. The election is over and we are getting out of the country before the reds, trade unionists and Paul Mullett take over (I believe Honest John and Yvonne). Jetstar get us efficiently on the plane at 2:00 pm. At 2:10 slight problem - they discover that their petrol (60,000 l) was loaded on the wrong Jetstar plane. Sorry - 30 min delay to refuel. 20 mins later - sorry but the 'wrong' plane is only going to Sydney. They dont need 60,000 l. and there is no place to offload it - except our plane. 30 mins later - there seems to have been a miscommunication ...... We leave after 4. Service on the plane leaves something to be desired - "Can we have a portable TV screen ? "Sorry wouldn't advise it. The sound quality is awful - but we cannot tell that to the people who pre-paid !" At the later meal "Can I buy an Indian Curry ?" "Sorry , no meals now - just snacks" My dinner consists of a luke warm 4 and 20 pie (no sauce) for $10. I think Jetstar must be run by the Liberal Party ! But at least we get there (which is more than the Libs could manage !)
